My wise friend Daryl Hoole told me once that we should always teach the ideal and that's what we've tried to do with our kids.

Kev and I have made it our mission to have the uncomfortable conversations with the kids.  And they can be pretty uncomfortable, but there's no way we'll sit back and let the world do all the teaching.  

Sister Oscarson says, "If we don't teach our children and youth true doctrine--and teach it clearly--the world will teach them Satan's lies."
