Wild Indians
Last night all the Sollis's who were in town gathered at the Beck House for family night.
We had 16 cousins excited to see each other and most of them ran around like wild indians in the backyard.
Mama Linda gave me this Gather sign last week.
I love it!
It's a perfect addition to the Beck House.
We had a great spread for dinner...but Karter opted for chips and watermelon.
Happy 10th Birthday to Kam!
Estabon sang the birthday song with his whole heart, and if he wears that ratty old white t-shirt one more time I'm going to burn it.
Uncle Rick gave a great lesson about the importance of the scriptures to help and guide us through life.
He brought all the fixin's for sugar cookies and each family, minus the moms, had to make sugar cookies with no recipe.
The sugar cookies ended up tasting more like a sugar cookie pancake and aside from the Beck family sneaking in some chocolate chips, surprisingly they all tasted pretty much the same.
Life without the scriptures would be like trying to make cookies with no recipe :)
Our family song for the year is Love at Home.
This song reminds me of my Grandma Emmy every time we sing it. She loved this song and she loved having her family gathered around her.
