And So it Begins

Yesterday was Day 1 of our 2016 Sollis Family Reunion!

We all went to church with my parents and then it was back to Mama Jan and Papa Tom's house for lunch.

The kids were in cousin heaven.

Everyone was having so much dang fun!

(Except for the ones who kept getting hit by the glider)

It was also Uncle Danial's birthday so we celebrated with chocolate cake, ice cream, popsicles, and creamies.  The grandkids know Mama Jan is always good for a creamie.

The kitchen is completely functional but will still be getting an island, more cabinets on the side with the fridge, and a china cabinet built into the wall behind Papa Tom.  Papa Tom likes to tease Mama Jan telling her if they get an island they won't be able to have dance parties in the kitchen.  So tonight he held his very first dance party.  I told him we could probably work one more in before they put in the island.
