Janie Loves 1st Grade

Janie has LOVED 1st grade.

She's LOVED learning Spanish and she LOVES her teachers.

One thing we've noticed with all of our kids around this age is that their innocence starts to fade.  They see and hear things at school that introduce them to "the real world" and I don't like it.  But, what better way for them to learn to stand on their own and prepare them for life outside of our home.  When they come home we teach them all we can about how to be good citizens and good disciples of Christ, and then we send them to school where they get to decide how they want to act and who they want to follow.
