Kloe's Turn

Last Friday we took Kloe on a date to the Salt Lake Temple to do baptisms for the dead and then to the Mandarin for dinner.

We learned from Elder Ballard during General Conference that our date with Kloe was a "Limited Family Counsel".  He spoke of four different types of family counsels to help strengthen family relationships.  I loved everything he said and have seen first hand the blessings of holding family counsels.  Ours have always been pretty informal and we've never actually called them counsels but the results have been the same--our family is closer and stronger because of them.  You can listen to his message HEREhttps://www.lds.org/general-conference/2016/04/media/session_2_talk_12/4828468090001?lang=eng.

(Still trying to get the hang of chop sticks)
This was her first time eating at the Mandarin so her Dad initiated her with the spicy mustard.
He loves it.
She didn't.

Love this girl of ours so much.  Everybody loves to be around Kloe.  She is funny, thoughtful, and sensitive to other people's feelings.  She is kind but won't hesitate to tell you (nicely) if something isn't right.  I'm so thankful Heavenly Father chose me to be her Mama.
