Counter Tops

Brachytherapy really wipes you out.

It's an energy zapper and my Dad was supposed to spend last week resting.

In between rests he got a few things done in the kitchen.

He and Kev installed the pantry door.

Doesn't everyone wear a bathrobe when they use a nail gun?

Rick, Coy and Scott removed the rest of the old linoleum and helped him get a new storm door hung.

After the counter tops were installed he put in their faucet.
Judging by his clothes, he may have done a little painting as well.

This kitchen is coming together!

Next week the floor will be installed and the week after they should have cabinets between the windows (the builder made a mistake so they sent it back to the factory to be fixed) and the appliances will be delivered.

Rick will be putting up some wainscoting.

A backsplash will be happening at some point, along with a built-in custom china cabinet.

Once the floor and appliances are in they will decide on the size and placement of the island.

Needless to say, Mama Jan is so excited she can hardly stand it!
