California Day 3 and 4

The plan was to go to Disneyland on Monday but the lines to get into Disney were NUTS!  We have never seen anything like it.  So we switched our plans and went to California Adventure which was a good move because it wasn't near as crowded.
We always go to Disneyland during the off seasons because Kev and I can't stand the long lines and the crowds but apparently A LOT of people didn't know it was the off season because the place was swarming.  We later found out Disney had a televised 60 Anniversary special on TV the day before, so that explained the ridiculous amount of people.

My brother Rob's family drove in from Arizona and the little girls headed straight for the Ariel ride.  They love it!  And these two cousins LOVE corn dogs and were so excited to find the Corn Dog Castle.

Poor Tommy.
The only boy among 9 sisters and girl cousins.

I ate a turkey leg for Estabon.

These two were so cute pouring over the map before and after every ride.

Tuesday we spent the morning at the Newport Beach Temple.
Kevin and the older girls did Baptisms for the dead and me and the little girls waited outside.

Then we headed to Newport Beach.

Our kids played in the sand and water for 4 hours straight.

Then we walked out onto the pier and had dinner at Ruby's Diner.
By the end of the meal they were completely exhausted, which is exactly what we were going for.
