A Code Red

It isn't easy being a girl.

Especially when it's your ladies day (that's what we call it around here)--cramps, the emotional roller coaster, and wanting to eat everything in sight.  

And even more especially when your ladies day shows up at school and you're unprepared....

Then later in the day I got this message...

I had a really nice mom who let me stay home from school once a month on the first day of ladies day.
