Christmas Music
Last night Kloe had her Granite Youth Symphony Christmas performance. They also got to perform with the Senior Symphony which is awesome because it gives the kids a glimpse of what they need to work for.
The concert was beautiful and Kloe told me on the way home that she's got to learn more technique and she needs to find a hard teacher that will scare her into practicing. While I totally support her taking lessons (for the 3rd time) the last time she asked to take private lessons it lasted about 2 weeks so we are going to have some sort of contract signed and notorized if she's going to take lessons again.
The 2 youngest have been sleeping under the tree. Janie's under the upstairs tree and Lilly's under the downstairs tree.
This morning was the elementary school Christmas sing along and Janie couldn't have been more excited! She wore her favorite spidy shirt and skirt and sang her little heart out. Gracie, on the other hand, could have cared less and told us not to come. So we skipped hers. She's hit the stage where she's getting ready to move on to Jr High. Thank goodness that won't be happening for another year and a half!
