Christmas at The Moon Ranch

Jax, Aubrey and Emmy drove over from Logan and met us at Baby Kevin's grave for our Christmas visit.
Some of us were prepared for snow and some of us were not.

The kids love these visits (as do the parents).
We sang some songs, had a family prayer, and of course took some pictures.

We tried the ho-made boysenberry and razzleberry pie and they were fantastic.

And then we headed to Grandpa Moon's.
His house holds so many great Christmas memories for me both as a child and as an adult.
We used to go up for a visit on my birthday and that was the best.

Grandpa's hearing isn't great but he can hear the girls violin music and he loves it.  He especially loves it when Em plays the Orange Blossom Special.

Lilly's on to something here...eating a rice crispy treat while working out.

Kev took the big kids out to the hay lands for some skeet shooting and target practice.

It was the best day.
Even the car ride was great with FM100 playing Christmas music and no one fighting or
complaining :).
