My Dad

Today I am thankful for my Dad.  He is a great example to me in so many ways.  A couple of the things I admire most about him is his positive attitude and his servant's heart.  The day he found out he had stage 4 cancer he had spent most of the day with two different doctors.  When I called that night to see how he was feeling he was out doing his home teaching.  I would have cancelled the appointments, put on my pj's, and spent the rest of the day and night eating comfort food and watching movies.  Not my Dad.  He's always looking for ways to serve others.

Megan (who just moved home from Boston last night!) and Kimmy took Dad to his chemo treatment today.  This is number two of 6.  So far he is handling the chemo pretty well.
