The Fire and the Burn

Once upon a time there was a guy who wanted hashbrowns with his hamburgers so he heated some oil on the stove (he likes his hashbrowns deep fried).  And then he got busy grilling the hamburgers outside and forgot all about the oil....

The pan caught fire and by the time the guy, his wife, and his sister figured out why the smoke alarm was going off the house was filled with smoke.  The guy grabbed the pan with his bare hand and ran it outside and was burned pretty bad in the process.

The guy's wife taking care of his burned hand and his sister feeding him ice cream.  

The entire house had to be cleaned from top to bottom.

And the stove needed replacing.

Yesterday the guy's parents came up to deliver the stove and clean the carpets.  The guy's little sister came too.  Despite not feeling well she entertained herself the entire day and was pleasant as can be.

The hand one week later...

The guy's wife was so happy to have a new stove and a clean kitchen she made raspberry muffins and homemade pizza to celebrate!  (And she was secretly happy the stove had to be replaced since the old oven burned all their dinners.)

And they lived happily ever after.
