Payson Temple Open House

We have been in a lot of temples.

This one may be the most beautiful temple I have ever seen on the inside.  

My very favorite temple is the Nauvoo temple but this one runs a close second.

If you are within driving distance you need to go see this temple.  Everyone is welcome.

The theme running throughout the temple is apple blossoms and it's in the stained glass.  It starts as a little bud in the baptistery and progresses to full blooms by the time you get to the celestial room.  So incredibly beautiful.

I can't wait to go back with Kevin in a month or two to worship there.

Before the tour you watch a short film about the history of temples.  When our prophet President Monson began talking about temples Lilly got so excited and told her Dad, "He knows all about temples".

And Gracie and I talked about her coming to this temple to celebrate her 12th birthday and have her first experience doing baptisms for our dead.

And my BFF Shelley is SO blessed to be able to see it from her front door, every day!

One of the things on the list for my dream house is for my kitchen window to face a temple.

The open house runs through May 23rd.
