Mom's Day 2015

Happy Mother's Day to me.

Love these kids so much.

Sister Penrod spoiled Janie and Lilly this week with the cutest little skirts and dresses.

Janie now has 3 girly Spidy outfits.

Emmy's friend Abby had her mission farewell and Abby is in my parent's ward so we got to go to church with Mama Jan and Papa Tom.  

My mom is the best!  So thoughtful and happy to help.  She's known what a stress it's been to find Emmy and myself dresses for the wedding so whenever she's out shopping she looks too.  She had 3 dresses for Emmy to try on and I think we found a winner!  She also fed Emmy cheesecake and sent her with some groceries.  She's a pretty great grandma!  

Happy Mother's Day to my most amazing beautiful Mama!  I love you so much and am so grateful to you for mothering me (even into my 40's) and showing me how to be a mom.

Kevin grilled and the kids helped with getting dinner ready (which I ate in my new pajamas from the husband).

Jackson told me today that he didn't embrace the fruit of Brazil until towards the end of his mission :(.

After dinner we had a family counsel.  

We told Aubrey we needed to vote on whether or not she could join the family and we asked if anyone had any grievances they needed to air.  Dakota said he was still waiting for the baked goods Aubrey promised him for making her a grilled cheese with his sandwich maker and Kloe had a problem with Aubrey not ever having taken her out for ice cream.  Other than that, we all gave our approval so it looks like the wedding is a go.

Tonight there was NO wind so we made another attempt.

We set one off but it stayed so low near the houses for so long that I was nervous it might land on a roof so we decided to save them for our trip to Flaming Gorge this summer.
