Welcome Home Sister Braunersrither!

Now that my niece Mickayla (Sister Braunersrither) has been home for 2 weeks I'm finally getting around to blogging about her welcome home.

I love love love these pictures.
Mickayla had a rough mission.
Missionaries are known for getting sick when they go to Paraguay and towards the end of Mickayla's mission she got REALLY sick! But our girl plugged along and was such a trooper.

When she got on the airplane to come home she was so ready to be home.
She served well, endured well, and really needed her mama.
Mickayla first flew to Panama.  Because of delays she arrived late in Atlanta and missed her flight home.  She was told she would have to wait a day before they could get her on another flight.
Mickayla lost it.
A lot of tears and a phone call to the mission home got her out of Atlanta and home by 8pm.

My sister felt devastated when all the plane unloaded and there was no Mickayla.  Her original flight landed in Texas around 4pm and she wasn't on it.  The mission travel office had the wrong number for my sister so she had no idea Mickayla was still in Atlanta.  You can imagine the panic they all felt when Mickayla wasn't on that flight.  Tricia said not knowing where your child is in the world is a feeling she never wants to feel again.

Fun fact:  Jackson and Mickayla both flew in to Atlanta on the same day!
Too bad it was 15 hours apart.

But it all worked out!

Mickayla thank you for your missionary service and your example to our entire family.
You served and endured well and I am sure our Lord is pleased with you!
We love you so much!
