Her First Crockpot!

Today was Emmy's turn to school shop with Mom.

She has looked forward to this day for like 3 years!

The day when she could buy her very first Crockpot!!!

Preparing for Emmy to leave for college has been VERY different from preparing Jackson to leave.  Emmy is SO EXCITED for college life!  Jackson, he didn't care, he was looking more forward to going on a mission than to college (although he ended up loving USU and Cache Valley).

I took the kids to the annual summer Holman Orthodontics party.  This year it was supposed to be at the Murray outdoor aquatic center but due to inclement weather we ended up in the Murray indoor aquatic center and oh my goodness it was hot and muggy!

It didn't bother the kids, but the mom was ready to pass out after an hour and a half in the Murray indoor pool/sauna...

Drowned Rat Selfie

I walked in with a little curl in my hair and walked out looking like a drowned rat.

See that little silver heart necklace?  It was a gift from my cousins Mike and Catherine on Baby Kevin's 1st birthday.  Inside is a picture of my big boy holding my baby boy.  Those two are always close to my heart.
