A Special Night

This is what Sunday night looked like at the Beck house...

We had a special dinner tonight (before the wrestling match) for Emmy.  Since it's her last Sunday living at home she got to pick the entire meal.  She chose all of her favorites:

Roast Beast

Mashed Potatoes and Gravy

Peas

Rolls

and Cookie Pie & Ice Cream for dessert

We had a special family night (after the wrestling match).

Dad gave back to school father's blessings to all the kids.

They have come to appreciate and depend on these blessings.

Before Kevin gives them their blessing he asks them what concerns they have about the new school year.  We had quite a few concerns this year with 4 of our 5 school age kids going to new schools.

Each of our kids received special blessings meant just for them.

I always take notes for them to put in their scriptures or journal so they can refer to their blessing throughout the school year.
