SOAR

The husband and I took Emmy to USU today for SOAR.  I think SOAR stands for Super Orientation for Aggie Residents.  But, I'm not really sure.  We arrived a little early so we stopped to see the door of Emmy's new apartment!  Very exciting!

While many parents were attending SOAR with their kids, the husband and I were spending the day doing whatever we wanted.

We people watched in the Student Center (it was awesome), watched this clip of Jackson's football highlights while we waited for Jackson to email us (I may have gotten all misty watching my football boy who's now such a great Missionary), had Tiny Spicy for lunch, got some Aggie Ice Cream (which is WAY better than the BYU ice cream at the creamery, in case you were wondering), and drove around the town of Providence--one of our favorite little towns.

Did a little shopping in the bookstore...

We took Emmy some left over Tiny Spicy for lunch and sent her on her way...

and then drove to Porcupine Reservoir.  Kevin wanted to see if he should put it on the list for a future fishing spot.

So so pretty, but the road leading up to it was narrow, windy, and part of it wasn't paved so it would be too tricky getting the boat up there.

While we were having good times in Logan the little girls were spending the day with Mommy Marci and Stella...

Only 22 more sleeps until the big college drop off for Emmy!!
