Celebrating Emmy!

Today we celebrate Emmy!!  

All that she is, all that she has been, and all that she will become :)!

And maybe next year we'll leave her father out of the pictures :).

Happy birthday to my beautiful amazing daughter.  This girl has got it together, waaaaaaaay more than her mother had at that age.  She is ready to move out and stand on her own two feet and we couldn't be prouder of her, and so grateful Heavenly Father sent her to our family.

Here she is, about to open Season 5 of Gilmore Girls.  

I banned her from Netflix so now she'll show me :).

For Emmy's birthday she wanted to play Rook.  So Papa Dave and Mama Linda brought the Rook book, the Rook cards, a bag of Skittles (it's tradition to play Rook while eating Skittles) and her Dad was forced to give up the Rook trophy he's been hoarding for over a year.

This is the very first entry in our Rook book!  Way back in 2006.  Jax was the winner and first trophy holder.  Speaking of Jackson.  Missionary Monday will probably be on Tuesday since Brazil plays in the World Cup tomorrow and Jax can't leave his apartment on the days Brazil plays.  I have wondered if living in Brazil would make him a Soccer fan.  He did buy himself a birthday soccer jersey so maybe he's thinking about it.
