Our Kazakhstan Visitor

Today was an extra special Sunday.

We were able to have dinner and FHE with Aubrey's (Sister Thomson) parents and her former mission companion Sister Belikova.

She was Aubrey's first companion in the Ukraine and they are truly kindred spirits.  She is staying with Aubrey's parents for a few months before she gets married this Fall.

Sister Belikova is from Kazakhstan.  She was converted to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints ten years ago and before her mission she had a great career working for Red Bull.  It was wonderful to meet her and it's obvious why Aubrey loves her so much!

The big 9th Grade Promotion Dance is this Tuesday!!

Esty tried out a few ties, trying to decide what he'll wear.  

I voted for the bow tie but my vote was vetoed.
