Missionary Monday - Week 10 in BNH and a Mommy Memory
Jackson's Kindergarten Picture
This week was a series of unfortunate events. With our two would have been baptisms one didn't keep the word of wisdom (it was just coffee she'll be fine) and the other will need permission from the first presidency to get baptized (no guarantees with him).
Actually besides that things are pretty good. I don't have a whole lot to say though. I gained a testimony of inviting the head of the household to offer a kneeling prayer yesterday. He was one of those "open minded" people who respects what we do, but doesn't take us too seriously. Then in his prayer after he asked if the message was true he started to cry like a baby. I have a feeling he will try to play it off though. We'll see.
I'm out of time, sorry about that. You aren't missing anything.

So when Jackson was 6 I wrote this in my journal one day...
At dinner it was just me and the kids. As we were eating our spaghetti (see, even back then we ate spaghetti on the nights Kevin wasn't home :) we started arguing about who loved each other more. I finally said, "I love you guys the very most!" and then Jackson says, "I love you with my whole heart". Well, I started to cry right there at the dinner table. What a sweet thing to say!
Dang our kids were (and still are) cute!
