Night Caps

Kloe stayed home sick today.

She got bored with laying around so she dug out Jackson's old guitar and has decided she is going to learn how to play it.

She spent part of the afternoon composing some songs in Spanish.  She may very well be the next Tayloro Swiftero.

So I've mentioned Lilly likes to twist and pull her hair out.  I was mortified to find some bald spots on her a few weeks ago so I've been trying different things to get her to stop.  I've started keeping her hair pulled up in one or two ponytail buns.  That has helped her to stop during the day.  But at night I noticed she'd try to pull her hair out of the pony's while she sucked on her binky, mostly when she was falling asleep or waking up.  As I've read about kids who do this they mostly do it for comfort (which is weird since it hurts to pull your hair out) and Lilly definitely falls into that same category.  I took away the binky last week hoping that would help, and it has so far.  Poor girl, she was pretty sad about that, but it was all for the greater good.  I also ordered some swim caps (she got to pick them out) hoping she would wear one to bed.  The only time she tries to get to her hair now is when she's half asleep.  I am crossing my fingers her little night caps will remedy that.  We'll see.

Janie, being the supportive sister :).

I found Emmy's psychology project hanging on my Christmas tree tonight.  Should I be worried about her?
