The Great Pumpkin Strikes Again!
It's been a good General Conference weekend.
A little more hectic than what we're used to but we managed
I looked around and noticed all my kids were snuggling with quilts their Mama Linda made them. They are spoiled.
The Great Pumpkin (aka Papa Dave and Mama Linda) stopped by during the afternoon session of conference. This was T-Man's first visit by the Great Pumpkin and he thought it was the greatest thing ever. He talks to his Grandma every night and tonight he kept telling her to be sure and put her bags out for the Great Pumpkin so he would come visit her house too.
Too bad this child slept through all the fun...
Kev and the big kids have become tie snobs and payed close attention to all of the ties the brethren wore. They were all big fans of this one worn by President Monson...
Such great messages and so much to study for the next 6 months. I'm grateful every day to have a prophet to guide me in my choices and how I raise my family.
Thanks Great Pumpkin for Lilly's new favorite pintest dress!
This little gumball necklace was so cute! Janie didn't realize it was gum and started sucking on it like one of those candy necklaces.
We took 2 walks today.
The first one was between conference sessions without the kids. The husband and I recapped the week and tried to assess how things were going with 2 extra kids. In the end we came to the conclusion that just 5 days in it is way too early to evaluate.
The second walk was to give the kids some exercise. Especially the Little Man. He has been struggling. He is a great sleeper and eater but he is so sad and unsettled. He clearly misses his Mama and I'm sure he has to be so confused with what is going on in his life. He does love to be outside so that is a happy thing for him.
