Football Takes Children Away from Families
Sometimes football ruins everything.
If you are a football family you know what I'm talking about.
The time commitment is crazy, but my boys love it so we've done it and we do it. And most of the time I try to have a good attitude about it.
We had one window of space this week where we could all go to dinner to celebrate the Dad. Tonight, from 5:30-7. I love watching my big kids interact with their Dad. He has always made it a point to communicate with his kids. Even when they are little and can barely talk, he talks to them like they are "grown up" and important and he never sugar coats anything--which in today's world, kids and adults need more of that (there's my 2 cents :).
We had Family Home Evening with the missionaries and some of our neighbors. I was reminded that you are never too old for a game of "I have a little doggy and he won't bite you..."
