The 20 Year Trip - Part 4
My friend Upu's Uncle Jr owns this little roadside grill so we stopped to meet him.
(Not sure why I am standing so funny or why my wrist looks broken)
Tita's Grill is know for it's Garlic Shrimp and it got TONS of great reviews when we looked it up. Whenever Kevin tries a new place to eat he usually orders whatever the most popular dish is. He almost ordered the shrimp. Me and Kevin don't do fish and I can't stand the texture of shrimp but with all the great reviews we were so tempted to try it, but in the end we went another direction...
Kevin got the Loco Moco which is a really popular dish on the island. It is rice with a hamburger patty and fried egg all smothered in gravy. I got the Teriyaki Chicken Stir Fry. You get a free piece of chocolate cake with every meal. Another yummy place to eat!
Jackson LOVES shrimp. It does look good. Probably should have tried it.
We hadn't planned to go to the Polynesian Cultural Center but our friend offered to get us tickets so we went. We really had a fun day. We had heard that there was a lot to do in one day and that it could be pretty overwhelming so Kevin read some reviews and we picked the most popular things to do and see.
We have a lot of lame pictures we took of ourselves. The only drawback of not taking anyone with us--no one to take our picture :)
We went to the Samoa show. This guy was a crack up. He was seriously SO FUNNY.

We had it with Macadamia ice cream. I dream about that stuff.
The water show was great. These two little Asian ladies decided they wanted to sit where we were sitting so they came and practically sat on my lap. Not sure if they were extra friendly or rude.
The Tonga show
The night show was great! Kevin went here with his family when he was around 10 and the only thing he remembered was the fire dancers. Our kids would have loved that part of the show. As I mentioned my friend Amy took much better pictures if you want to see more of the PCC.
Almost done... I think only 2 more Hawaii posts to go.
