Missionary Monday - Week the Third
Oi,
Another good week. I'm running out of things to say to you people though. Nothing personal, its just that its like Ground Hog Day here in the MTC. We go to bed every night and wake up every morning but it feels like I am just living the same day over and over and over again.
On Saturday we had our first TRC, which is where volunteers come in and we speak to them in our language like we would if we were at a members house for family night. Just talk with them and share a little message. I asked both volunteers how the food was and what the people needed and they both answered the same way. The food is awesome and the people need A LOT. I like the TRC's and teaching lessons because I get great language practice. For the most part they seem to understand what I am saying, so thats nice.
Easter was good. One of the the elders from the presiding bishopric spoke to us. It might have even been the bishop, I don't know. His name was Cousse or something. He was a French guy. Shows how well I payed attention. I'm not really sure how Conference will be here. I think it will be a welcome break from all the class and studying.
I am really grateful for all the packages and letters. As always anyone is welcome to ask questions. If I don't reply its not on purpose. and I'm still waiting to hear about Emmy's ACT score.
Until next week.
P.S.This last week two more Beck's came in going to Brazil. An Elder and a Sister both with no known relation to us. I'm sure it must be hard for the Elder to be the second best Beck both in MTC basketball and in Brazil.
Pic #1 - me and Wil Nielson at the temple walk. He's going to the Baltics speaking Russian. I got a haircut if you can't tell. I went to the barber shop last Saturday and got it cut, but didn't like how it looked, so I re-cut it myself with my room mates clippers. Its pretty short. Me and Will have class in the same building so I see him all the time now. He's doing really good.
Pic #2 - My district and old teacher Irmao Villanova, minus me and another elder because we were getting a haircut. The teacher is the one 4th in from the right on the top row.
Pic #3 - Me, Will, and Hayes at the temple. We are the current representatives for Highland Football in the MTC.
