Missionary Monday Week Dois
Hello
again,
Thanks for all the letters and packages this week! Dad is definitely in the lead and I haven't heard anything from Emmy or Dakota so you may inform them that they are dead to me. Grandma hooked me up with like a bazillion cookies and some breath mints. You can definitely buy my love with packages and letters. I don't need too much, but its still nice. I get a lot of compliments on my ties, but I feel like I need at least one paisley one... Just sayin :)
This week was pretty good. That first week was so intense and then this last one was just pretty mellow in comparison. On Wednesday our district decided to only speak Portuguese the whole day and that makes you realize real quick that uh, my Portuguese sucks. And it gave me a giant headache. I do like the language though. The words are pretty fun to say. I just hate the masculine/feminine thing. What is the point of that? I'm about done with the Book of Mormon and I'm going to try to read it in Portuguese next. I'll have the English version open too for the words I don't know, but that still might be a little too ambitious.
Our guy teacher from Brazil Irmao (Brother) Villanova got a job in the governors office so tomorrow is his last day. Thats kind of a bummer cause its nice to have a native telling you how it will be.
I'm not really sure what else to say, pretty much every day here is the same old stuff. We teach a lesson to one of two different investigators every day. One's name is Geralda and the other is Marcelinho. Marcelinho is trying to stop drinking and we have committed him to be baptized. He's pretty easy.

We have had 4 devotionals, but the General Authorities only speak at the Tuesday ones. So far its only been members of the 70 that I've never heard of. I'm pretty sure someone important will come fore Easter this week though. What I really like though is the gospel movies they play Sunday night after the devotional.
I'm not sure if there is anything else. Feel free to ask questions if you have them, I'll be happy to reply.
Thanks again,
Jackson
I can only send 3 pictures in an email, so I
might try to just send two different emails. I only have three for this week
though. Tudo Bem ("Its all good")
#1 - This is my schedule for the next few weeks.
I'm not sure if you can see it, but its full. Every minute is accounted for.
#2 - I think this picture says a lot. The little
game they have going is chess with coins on a piece of paper. Times are tough.
#3 -
Another thing we do for entertainment is try to stick plastic spoons in peoples
clothes without them noticing so they walk around with it sticking out.
