Morning With My Girls

I keep forgetting Easter is in March this year.

So after breakfast we pulled out all the Easter/Spring decorations.

8:30am

Janie wanted some decorations for her room and was so proud of the way she arranged them.

I made these when Kev and I were first married.

While Janie and I decorated, Lilly was doing her own thing when I hear her little voice say, "Look, Mom Look!"

I turn around to look and she is so proud that she could balance that pillow on the couch.

Janie has been all about playing the piano lately.  Lilly has to do everything Janie does.  Janie's ok with that except when it comes to playing the piano.  Janie told Lilly, "Stop playing, you play like crap!" and then proceeded to pout when Lilly wouldn't stop playing.

Lilly brings me the egg coloring kit, wanting to see what's inside.  I tell her no and she proceeds to open it anyway.

9:30am

The girls decide to watch a movie and Janie tells me to quit taking pictures of her.

10am

The girls are bored with the movie and want to put their shoes on so they can go to lunch with Heidi--who isn't coming for 2 more hours.  They were so excited about their lunch date!

I love my days with my girls.  I love hearing them chatter and sing.  I love having these little people to talk to. I love being a Mama :)
