Beauty is a Duty

Today me and Janie went to see Lacey for haircuts.

I usually cut all my kids hair as well as the husband's.  In fact Jackson had his first haircut by someone besides his Mama right before he left on his mission.  He liked his friend's missionary haircut so he went to the same lady who cut his friend's hair.  She did a nice job but I like the way I cut it better (but I didn't tell Elder Beck that).

When my girls want layers or anything other than a trim I have to hire out.  I didn't quite like the last cut I gave Janie so Lacey fixed it :)

Speaking of Elder Beck.  The husband and I are counting the hours til Friday when we hear from our Elder! The husband has written Jaxer 3 times already.  And they weren't short letters, like the ones he used to send me when he was on his mission.  I am impressed.
