Water Bowls and a Field Trip

 

We were supposed to be camping/boating/fishing this weekend with the Jefferies but the lake we'd made reservations at ended up having a low water level, poor fishing and the beach area stunk :( so we cancelled the trip.

But, we all managed to have a pretty fun holiday anyway...

 

My sister Kimmy and her kids came over and the kids spent the afternoon playing in the water.

Kimmy and I spent the day bonding over grilled cheese sandwiches.

 



 

They had the great idea to stick their heads in bowls of water...they all maintain it's the BEST way to cool off on a hot day...



The little underwear boys agreed...

 





 

The boys took a little field trip to Logan to spend the day with Jax.

There was fishing, Rook, Frisbee and Pool

 



Janie had her choice between a "boys day" or a "girls day"...she went with the boys.  She was the only girl invited.  She's pretty fun to have around.



 

 

And this would be Jax and Kota bonding on the swings...they've missed each other :(



We finished up the day with a jar of Nutella and spoons all around...
