A Flood :(

 

6:30am - Janie entertaining us during scripture study, she's usually the most awake of all the kids...

 

 

She LOVES the snowman too-small pj's...it's time for them to mysteriously disappear :)

 

 

 

Lilly loves the snowman pj's too.

 

 

 

My cousin's home in Santa Clara was flooded.  It was one of the hardest hit by the flooding.  So sad.

Erica and Cody we're sending lots of prayers for you and your family!

 



A little shout out for Home Depot.

They have been a great help in the clean up efforts.



My Aunt Jill said a guy from Home Depot came by Wednesday - several times - to see what they needed. Each time, they gave them more and more supplies - to the tune of:

 

4 shovels

boxes

moving tape

huge box of 30-gallon garbage bags

3 sump pumps

a big power washer on wheels

5 large hoses

wheel barrow

 

Then on one trip he brought two large buckets filled with wood to make projects. He gave each of the boys (they have 4 little boys) a hammer and some glue and they went to the garage and spent a long time making their projects (not sure what they were). Jill was dumbfounded at the kindness shown by Home Depot! The last time she came she told them that they have her business for life! - and that she will tell others about their kindness. The guy told her that they were glad to help.
