A Spectacle

What you see here is my girls moving furniture and rugs in order to sweep and mop the entire floor.  What you don't see here is me sitting on the couch with my feet up, telling them all what to do.

They were great helpers and I will sleep better tonight with a clean floor.  It has been driving me nuts!

While the girls were working in the house, the boys were hard at work mowing lawns.  We decided to reward ourselves and go out to dinner.  With the big kids busy schedules it isn't very often that our entire family is together in public.  I forget what a spectacle we all must be--tons of kids and the mom is pregnant with another!  I can only imagine what people are thinking and I'm sure we provide a great deal of entertainment for everyone!  Thankfully the kids are usually pretty well behaved.

It's been a great day!  Emmy helped me do the Walmart shopping for the month this morning.  I was REAL tempted to use one of their motorized chairs but opted to walk like a turtle and let Emmy push the cart.  We ran in to a friend from our ward.  She stopped and asked about the baby, expressing her well wishes and excitement about his upcoming birth day.  Later, while I was sitting on the couch barking orders to the girls :) the doorbell rang and it was another friend from the ward dropping off a freezer meal, treats and a very sweet letter.  I've been thinking all day about our ward family.  I am so grateful for all of them.  They have been so good to us over the last few months.  Many of them regularly check in on me and express their faith, hope, and love for this baby and for our family.  I've had many sweet conversations with various sisters where they've shared personal stories of faith and blessings in their life as well as the belief they have in God and his plan for our baby and for our family.  So to all the members of our ward, thank you for taking such good care of us!  We love you!
