We Missed It

Gracie played "Devil's Dream" this morning for the 1st grade talent show/tryouts for the school talent show. She did fabulous and will be playing for the school talent show in a couple of weeks!

The husband and I spent the first part of our date night at Jackson's baseball game. We arrived about 5 minutes late only to find out we missed Jackson hitting his first home run! Yep, we missed it and it was all my fault--grocery shopping took longer than I'd planned, but what could I do, the children have to eat, right? We were told it was an amazing hit. I'll forever feel sad about it and Kevin may never let me forget it was my fault we missed it :(

The second part of our date night was spent eating delicious Chinese food at the Mandarin in Bountiful with our friends Marci and Rhett. We have quite the history with these two. We have great memories of living/working in the Deseret Mortuary when we first got married. Oh the stories Rhett and Kevin could tell you!
