Jax's Homemade Hat

Jax came home from school sporting his finished camo beanie he crocheted all by himself! He tells me that there aren't many things better than crocheting while listening to REO Speedwagon :)

Sadly, Miss Lilly has an upset stomach and puked all over it :(

Have I mentioned this has been the puke house for over a month now? I am so done with puke!

Today was an emotional one. I had a minor breakdown this morning and was on the verge of tears the rest of the day. It's so weird. Some days I'm completely fine (thankfully most days) and others the littlest things will set me off.

The husband and I had our date night tonight since I'm leaving him again tomorrow. I will miss him. He says he'll miss me but I'm taking all the girls so having NO DRAMA and PEACE and QUIET for a couple of days will help him get over it.

We ended up at The Olive Garden. The topics of discussion were he and the boys upcoming Man Trip, Kevin trying to convince me to go with him to Lake Powell--just the two of us--fishing night and day and living off the fish we caught. He almost had me until the "eating only fish" part. We almost made it through the entire meal when I started talking about my emotional day. I started to lose it and Kevin knew it was coming--I watched his eyes go big with concern over the possibility of me having a breakdown right there in the restaurant. Then he did what he does best--said something or other that made me laugh and pulled me right out of it :)

25 weeks and counting.

Oh, and PS. The camo beanie washed up good as new :)
