Pictures by Janie and Prayers

Janie has been obsessed with taking pictures ever since Grandma Jan showed her how to take them a couple of weeks ago. So I gave her the camera and told her to take me a few and here's what she came back with...

Every day I am overwhelmed with gratitude for all the prayers that are being offered in our behalf and especially on behalf of our little Kevin--who none of us have even met. Our friend Tavana, who leases a tow yard from us, was in at the yard yesterday talking with Cynthia (our tow yard manager). She was telling him about what has been going on with our baby. He too said he would offer prayers in our behalf and that he would also have the congregation at his church offer prayers for little Kevin. He related an experience to Cynthia how his congregation once prayed for a child who had a brain tumor. When the doctors went into operate the tumor was completely gone. This is just one of many reminders I've had that God does answer our prayers and he does work miracles.

Speaking of prayer. We have thought a lot about what exactly to pray for. Initially I felt like maybe this baby's only purpose was to come to earth to get a body and that we should pray that he could be born alive. Since then I've realized that we just can't know. My wise almost 18 year old Jackson questioned his Dad as to whether or not that was the right thing to pray for since really, we have no idea what God's will is. He was right. We can consider statistics, we can consider Dr's opinions, but really, God can do what ever He wants. Whatever our little Kevin's mission is in this life God can help him fulfill it. So for now we are praying for the health and strength he needs to fulfill his mission and for God's will. I am so grateful that little Kevin is in God's hands and that He knows better than all of us what our baby needs.

Something to look forward to! --Jackson told me this morning that yesterday in 3D Design he learned to crochet! And he's crocheting a very cool camo beanie! Can't wait to see that!

Make a note: Now that we no longer have a towing company we often get asked who we recommend for a tow. We always refer people to our friend Tavana (who I mentioned above) with King Fish Towing. If you want you can put his number in your cell phone so you have it if you need it :)
