It Snowed the Day I Took the Tree Down...

I have a pretty strict policy--the tree and holiday decorations come down BEFORE New Years Day...

And here we are the 7th of January and the tree is still up.
I thought about taking things down earlier in the week by myself but decided I'd rather wait until Saturday when I'd have some extra help from Kevin and the kids. It was a good decision--with their help we got everything down and put away in no time. Janie was pretty sad the tree had to come down. Especially since it was snowing outside. I assured her it would go right back up next year.
