Happy New Year and a Note to Stephanie!

Our New Years started in keeping the Sabbath by going to church. It was a wonderful service, the part I could hear anyway with our restless and fussy little ones. The speakers shared stories from and testified of the Book of Mormon. I love that book and am so excited to be able to teach from it in Gospel Doctrine this year.

Speaking of The Book of Mormon. I forgot to post this picture I took at the hotel last week. We were having our morning scripture study (if I'm being honest, we failed terribly the rest of the week with our studies but one day out of 7 on vacation isn't so bad). Before our kids can read we will read a few words and then they'll repeat them. Except Janie. She insists on having no help and likes to read all by herself. She does pretty well...usually gets a "and it came to pass" in there along with talk of angels, Jesus, and scriptures. It's very cute!

The boy's New Years ended in breaking the Sabbath at the NFL game. I might as well have been there with them since I ordered the tickets.

Miss Izzy went too!

This baby girl was a trooper. Lilly was sick most of the trip but she held her own and managed to be pleasant about 60% of the time.

While the boys were at the game the girls were cleaning and packing up. We will be heading for home at 8pm tonight.
I just realized I have no pictures of my sister-in-law Stephanie. So sorry Steph! She was most definitely around, feeding us and cleaning up after us. I think we may have overwhelmed her a bit! I just have to say how much I love Steph. She is the best thing to happen to my brother and I'm so glad Rob finally decided to start dating :) so he could meet Steph and marry her. Thanks to them both for a very fun vacation and visit. We love you guys!
