Breaking the Fast

Fast Sunday's are a sometimes a bit of a struggle at our house. And even more of a struggle at the cabin where the main events are: EAT, SLEEP, and WATCH MOVIES. What you see here is Emmy helping Janie make her pizza. What you don't see is Emmy, so weak from hunger, having to sit down to finish making her pizza.
Despite the empty tummies and complaining now and again, it really is a blessing and privilege to be able to participate in our family fast the first Sunday of every month.
