The Best Part of Back to School

Dakota was the first to leave the nest this morning... we said an extra long prayer for him as it is his first day of JR HIGH! (The orientation day last week didn't really count)

Grandma Linda did fabulous in the shoe department for all the kids (as usual). Thanks Grandma! And we all know the best part of going back to school is most definitely the new shoes!!
Emmy was the next to go. Her first day of High School! If you are wondering, she didn't throw up and she didn't wet her pants--what a relief.

Last but not least (for today)...Kloe and Gracie have their back packs and are ready to rock the 4th and 1st grade!

It was a great first day for everyone...stay tuned for Dad and Jackson's first day later this week!

This little brownie creation was left on our door step. Initially I thought it was from one of Jackson's female admirers but upon further investigation we found it came from 2 of Jackson's buddies who go to Taylorsville...no wonder they tried to remain anonymous :) Such good friends!
