I Failed the Children

Happy St Patrick's Day!

Gracie asked me this morning

"What fun things are we doing for St Patrick's Day Mom?"

I am running on 5 hours of sleep a night so St Patrick's Day festivities were the farthest thing from my mind.

I didn't even wear green--since I don't have any green sweats or t-shirts (which is currently all I wear in my post-baby state)

I do have green eyes--but Gracie said that didn't count.

In the end I picked up mint ice cream sandwiches, key lime pie and Andes mints.

So the holiday wasn't a complete loss.
