Q&A and a Great Option for Pulling Teeth

Janie was NOT happy about dropping Daddy off at school this morning.

She's his little buddy and was pretty annoyed he didn't take her with him.

He did tell me when he took Janie to the student center a few weeks ago to pick up his transcripts she proved to be quite the chick magnet.

In response to the questions from yesterdays comments as well as a few others we've been asked...here you go:

Q. Where is Kevin attending school?

A. Salt Lake Community College for now

Q. What is his major?

A. He hasn't decided what grade he wants to teach...he's leaning towards the upper elementary or Jr. High age. He's observing several classrooms this semester so hopefully he'll have a better idea within the next few months.

Q. How long does he have to go?

A. About 3 years--he had about a years worth of credits that transferred.

Q. Is he taking hot lunch or cold lunch?

A. I pack him a delicious cold lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Q. Did he get new shoes or a new outfit?

A. No but he did get 2 new backpacks!

Q. How can he support a family of 8 (soon to be 9) on a teacher's salary?

A. As far as I know he can't :) He has some commercial income property that will feed the children and keep a roof over our heads.

Q. What school will he transfer to?

A. If he goes the Elementary Education route he can go to the Tooele Extension of Utah State University. If he does Secondary then probably the UofU or UVU.

Q. How did his first day of classes go?

A. He's glad to have them over. He just had no idea what to expect. He was a bit shocked in one of the classes where he was put into a group of girls and NONE of them could spell. One spelled patient--pacent, another spelled knowledgeable--noledgable. He came out of that class feeling pretty darn smart.

Today Kloe was showing me a new loose tooth.

I cracked up when she turned to Kota and said,

"Don't you tell dad about this, I think he was serious when he told me he would pull my next tooth out with one of his rockets".

She really believed he would try it too.
