Potty Training, Going for the Gold and Serving...

Janie has ZERO interest in potty training.

Kevin decided to start with the babiest of baby steps--so today she sat, fully clothed on the lid of the toilet seat.
It's a start.

Last week Kevin had his first math test.
The teacher announced that all students who received an "A" on the test would get a treat.
Any students who got 100% would get a FULL SIZE CANDY BAR!
As you can see, the husband went for the gold!
Not only did he get 100% but the teacher announced he had the first 100% of the day.
You can bet we will be displaying this test on the refrigerator!

My two cute violinists after their group lesson.

And here's two more cute violinists.
Emmy started teaching her cousin Kaitlynn violin lessons this month.

Tonight we were able to do a Family Night for the rest home near our house.
This is a fun way for the kids to serve and the "Grandma's and Grandpa's" (as Janie calls them) absolutely love it!
The kids sang songs and gave a couple of talks--one about Jesus and the other about Nephi.

Emmy and my sister Kimmy (on the piano) played a medley of primary songs.
Kimmy wrote the arrangement and Emmy put together the violin part.
It was amazing.

Kevin and Janie stole the show when the two of them sang Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam.
