The Most Wonderful Night of the Week :)

Tonight was Kevin's perfect date night!

Married almost 18 years and I still love to hold his hand.

Of course date night wouldn't be "date night" without a call from one or more of the children. We'd been gone not 5 minutes when Jackson calls wanting someone to open the garage door for him. His garage door opener got left in the house so he was sitting in his car, in the driveway, waiting for someone to open the door. Heaven forbid he should get out of the car and open the door himself. Sometimes he can be a little princess.

We started our date here...Kevin had some serious shopping to do.

But first we made quick work of these.

Ahhhhh...he feels right at home in the fishing section.
He picked him up a few of these little guys for his Sand Hollow fishing trip in April (when it comes to fishing, he plans ahead)...

He picked up a few other man treasures and then it was on to dinner at Zupas...

It's certainly no Outback but it runs a close second--no really, it does.
Great sandwiches, salads and soups!

Speaking of dating...
Now that football is over Jackson is getting back into the dating scene.
He has a date tomorrow night.
Our pre-family prayer discussion went something like this...
Dad: Jackson, do we need to go over a few dating details before tomorrow night? You know it needs to be all about her right?...
Gracie: Ya Jackson, and you should pay
Dakota: Don't use a coupon

Kev and I finished up date night watching Christmas Vacation in our bedroom--with minimal interruptions from the children.
