Gracie Anne Turns 6!

Gracie's birthday kicks off our September Birthday Extravaganza!

She has been SO excited to turn 6.

She loves the show "Cake Boss" and asked mom to make her a fancy butterfly cake.

Fancy is a pretty big stretch for mom but with a little help from the Internet she pulled it off.

I'm convinced Gracie is an "old soul".

She understands so many "grown up" things and in many ways seems so much older than 6.

She's a great example to the whole family of patience and kindness.

Gracie decided several months ago she wanted to get her ears pierced so to celebrate Birthday #6 we took a trip to the mall for the big event!

She was a little trooper--no tears and once the sting wore off, all smiles sporting her new earrings!
