Easter Egg Eggstravaganza!
Yesterday we went to Mama Linda's and Papa Dave's for their annual Easter Egg Hunt! The kids look forward to it every year.
Each of the kids have their own color of egg and Uncle Steve and Aunt Tam hide them according to their ages...so Jax and Emmy are usually still looking for their eggs after the younger three have found all of theirs.
The kids are also spoiled with Easter Baskets full of all kinds of fun things from Grandma and Grandpa! Jackson especially loved his "Gummy Bacon"--who knew there was such a thing.
Here's Papa Dave making one of our families favorite foods of all time--Manti Turkey! Some of you have probably tried this but I'm going to go ahead and include the recipe for those who haven't...it's fantastic!

2-3 pounds turkey breast cut into small pieces (I've also used chicken)
1 Cup Soy Sauce
1 Cup Veg Oil
2 Cups Lemon-Lime Soda
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 1/2 tsp Horseradish
Combine all ingredients and marinate 2-24 hrs...then grill!
We love it so much Kev will stand in the snow and grill it in the dead of winter! MMMmmm!
