The Year 2000!
We partied it up for New Years Eve!
Breakfast at Little America to celebrate my dad's birthday. Toy Story 2 with Kevin's family, followed by a prime rib feast!
Papa Dave had fireworks to celebrate the year 2000!
Emmy survived her first day of Primary.
She came home and said, "Mom, that wasn't so bad!"
Kevin is teaching Jackson's CTR 6 class and said she was so cute, always raising her hand when they asked for a volunteer and she loved answering all their questions.
It was also Kevin's first day teaching. Jackson said even though he was nervous at first about how his dad would do, he did a good job.
The kids love it when Papa Tom comes over to help mom with projects!
He always has time for a book or a game.
Emmy especially likes to play Life with Papa Tom because she loves to get married and have children. She is such a girl.
I took Dakota and Emmy to Texas for a visit with Trish and her kids.
And her kids' friends :)
Loved spending time with my sister!
Dakota's latest thing is to fake cry and fake laugh.
He also loves to sing and dance.
He'll stand in front of the stereo and dance, even when it's turned off.
I witnessed my first Texas rain storm one night while we were there.
I had never seen ground lightening before.
The storm lit up the entire sky and the thunder was so loud.
Add some hail and it was all pretty scary.
Getting home was kind of a nightmare.
Getting home was kind of a nightmare.
Our flight was cancelled because of the weather.
We waited in line for over an hour to get a new flight.
Dakota had had it. He kept getting out of the stroller. He'd walk over to the windows, turn around and yell at everyone.
When we finally got to the ticket counter they said the soonest flight they could put us on was the following morning.
I figured Trish could just come get us for another night, but no one answered when I called.
The lady at the ticket counter felt sorry for us and arranged for a room at the Motel 6.
The Motel 6 was definitely better than the airport, but the kids had a rough night=I had a rough night.
The upside, we flew first class home :)
Still trying to figure out my headaches and face/jaw pain.
I've added to the list of Doctors I've seen...
an Internist
Herbalist
ENT
and two Jaw Specialists
Also had a CT scan on my sinuses and it came back clear.
The internist prescribed me a medication.
I looked it up and it was an anti-depressant.
Nope.
The one problem I don't currently have is being depressed.
