A Legend At The Bank
These little people are my favorites!
Emmy is beginning to talk.
She says "mop" for stop.
"Mo" for no.
And shakes her head up and down for yes.
She's Winnie the Pooh's biggest fan!
Eats like a horse, she can out eat Jackson when she puts her mind to it.
And she's quite the little charmer.
Jackson loves for us to tell him scary stories at night--especially dinosaur stories.
He loves puzzles.
He LOVES Buzz Light Year.
And he loves playing his Arthur game on the computer.
We celebrated Kevin's 26th Birthday and our 10 years of being together with a weekend in Park City. Jackson stayed with Kevin's family and Em with Aunt Tricia. We did lots of shopping, went to dinner at The Baja Cantina, we love their food! And it's always nice to remember what an uninterrupted nights sleep is like :)

Santa brought the kids bunk beds this year!
Emmy had been struggling a little at night, and so to get her to sleep, we snuggle on the couch.
The timing was just right to give up the crib.
Jackson was so surprised to wake up Christmas morning in his bunk bed!
It was another birthday celebration for Jackson at McDonalds!
Our little guy is 4!
His birthday started at 1:30am when he woke up crying. He was upset because he was thirsty and couldn't find his water. I picked him up and he was so hot! His temperature was over 103. And then he threw up. I put him in a cool bath and that seemed to bring his temp down. We put him in bed with Kev and I and let him open his birthday presents. One of his gifts was an Arthur book, so we read that at 2am. Then we said a prayer together, asking Heavenly Father to bless him to be better for his birthday. He woke up with no fever and was able to have such a fun day.
He is such a sweet boy and he's always saying things that make me laugh.
The other night during Family Home Evening Kevin taught us about the importance of writing in a journal, and how we should only write the important things that happen in our lives. He gave Jackson his very own journal. A few days later Jackson got out his journal to "write" some things. He looks at me and says, "Mom, I can only write the important things, like I need to be nice, and I need to read my scriptures". I said, "Why don't you write about how you went to the Jazz game last night". He replied, "No Mom, that's not important". It cracked me up because he loves all things sports. Pretty sure his first word was "ball".
So grateful for these people.
Kevin works so hard for all of us.
He got promoted to a Repossession Collector at the bank and he's really good at it! The Washington Post wrote an article about him. Kevin called a reporter to see if he knew anything about a car he was looking for and the reporter ended up doing an article on Kevin. Because of the article they found the car! Kevin's totally a legend at the bank :)
My favorite time of day with these two is story time before naps. I read to them and Jackson takes a turn too. Emmy doesn't always have a great attention span, but when Jackson tells one of his looong stories she doesn't make a peep!
We took away Em's binkies this month. Slowly, one by one they have "broke". She'll find them laying on the ground with the nipple broke (cut) off. When she found her last "broken" binkie she tried putting it in her mouth and then said, "Boke, boke" with a very sad face. I told her to go throw it away so she did. I had had it with them. She was teething and drooling like crazy. Since the binkie broke there's been no more drooling. She looked for it once in the trash but for the most part she got over it pretty quick.
