Flying Off

We've been in Flaming Gorge most of the week.

The trip didn't start out the way we thought it would...

One of the boat trailer tires (we'd just had it replaced two weeks ago) went flying off about a mile outside of the marina.  The new tire ended up with a gash in it and the bearings were busted so our spare tire was worthless.

But thanks to Dameon we were able to get the boat in the water and thanks to Tavana with King Fish Towing we were able to get the boat trailer home for a major rebuild.  The Gorge is storing our boat for us in the mean time.

Aside from the broken trailer, the gross sunscreen and a couple of bad sunburns the trip was a winner!  I'll post about it next week.
