Lots of Bread

Our weekend started off here...

Gracie checked Bountiful Temple off her list of Utah Temples.

After we did baptisms Kev and I headed to Logan to rescue our girl.
She was getting burnt out and needed some mom and dad time and bread.
So we bought her some new shoes and took her to Texas Roadhouse for some comfort food and lots of bread (new shoes and good food are a great morale booster).

And then we brought her home for the weekend because everything's more fun with Emmy (and Dad).

This girl loves to bake and she whipped us up this fabulous dessert last night.

Turtle Toffee Texas Sheet Cake
And yes, it was just as good as it looks.
Papa Tom came for dinner and the kids caught him up on some of the stuff going on in their lives.

It was another great Sabbath.
We had ward conference and we were reminded of the importance of Spiritual and Temporal Self-Reliance.
Gracie taught us about the importance of prayer.  We talked about what kinds of things we can pray for and how we need to remember to show gratitude when our prayers are answered.
