Celebrating America up North

Sunday after church we headed to Logan to have a family dinner at Jax and Aubrey's.  Emmy made a yummy roast dinner (with a little help from Jax and Aubrey) and made cheesecake and chocolate chip cookie pie for dessert.

We also went to the park for Family Night.  Estabon gave the lesson about making good choices and we had a family counsel about where we should hold our family vacation next summer.  Since it will be our last vacation with Estabon for a couple of years (he'll be going on a mission next summer), his vote counted more than anyone elses.

Emmy's roommates were out of town so the girls had a sleep over at Emmy's place and the boys at the Beck Manor.  Emmy's summer home is so cute!  But you'll have to just take my word for it.

We headed to the Malad parade early Monday morning.
Lilly still gets carsick but we haven't had a puke fest since the spring break Mesa trip of 2015, until yesterday.  She gave us just enough heads up for me to dump the mini cinni's so she'd have something to puke in.  Emmy and Kloe claimed to be sympathetic pukers so they were very little help.

We met up with Grandpa Moon, Aunt Jeri and my cousins Mike and Catherine and their kids.

We were loving our little Malad parade until about 20 minutes in, when it ended :(

It's really sad when your sister gets thrown a ball in the parade and you only get 5 pounds of candy.

We love our Aunt Jeri!
And we all had a pretty good laugh when she congratulated Esty on his new baby (Jax and Esty do look a lot alike :)

Family sleepovers
small town parades
target practice
hotdogs
watermelon
 and ice cream
that's what the 4th is all about.
